Subject: Digitalization in Food Engineering for Sustainable Processing
Prof. Dr. Ferruh Erdoğdu graduated from Hacettepe University, Faculty of Engineering, Department of Food Engineering in 1992. He started working as a research assistant at the University of Florida, Department of Biological and Agricultural Engineering. He received his master's degree in 1996 and his doctorate degree in 2000. After his doctorate, he worked as a lecturer at the University of California between 2000 and 2001. He completed his postdoc in the same field.
He continued his academic life at Mersin University, Faculty of Engineering, Department of Food Engineering between 2002 and 2014, and worked as Assistant Professor in 2002. Assoc.Prof.Dr., Assoc.Prof.Dr. in 2005. and in 2011 Prof.Dr. received the title.
Between 2009 and 2010, he served as deputy director of Mersin University Distance Education Application and Research Center.
He served as department head between 2011-2012 and as dean of Tarsus Technology faculty between 2012-2014. As of 2019, he has been serving as the Senate representative of Ankara University's engineering faculty.
